Ladies, Listen Up!

Oh, ALL Good Stuff Happening Here!
I just got off the phone with one of my favorite people. Mr. CC from Chicago, one of my mentors, one of the people I have looked up to and aspired to be like. We have talked about merging our passions together for years… so I called him up today on a whim...and just said… "Let’s do this! What are we waiting for?'
He was more than ecstatic to hear my thoughts on why I want to merge and what we both bring to the table. And we will be announcing our collaboration more in the next week or two. CC is a certified fitness/personal trainer & licensed martial arts instructor. He has so much passion for the human body and what it is capable of, and works daily at improving the minds and bodies of the people around him.
I'm going to be honest, I was slightly nervous to call him, to ask him to join me here on my podcast and youtube videos because they are still small, but this is the key ladies… you never know unless you ask. We need to stop being scared, stop being so self conscience, stop doubting ourselves.
So let me explain, how this happened.. Every morning I listen to motivational podcasts, youtube videos, etc.
A few days ago I was listening to a guy who was explaining how to be a great leader, boss, manager. He explained that you have to have a BIG ENOUGH WHY.
Why are you doing what you are doing, why are you waking up everyday.
So I made a promise to myself that I would figure out my why by the end of the week.
After two days of writing a deliberating, I realized that my Why is not only my child, but my child's future children. To have an impact so strong that I impact the lives of children that I may never meet.
I want to have such a strong impact in the lives of mothers and fathers around the world that their children are then impacted.
_______________
I got a DM in my Facebook yesterday I was asked why I am doing a podcast everyday... they said there was no way people would be able to keep up with that much content.
I disagree
If you are not thinking about your health, fitness, mental capacity, finances, your time, your self improvement, every single day, how are you ever going to improve? How are you ever going to meet your potential? Everyone wants to just go home and zone out in front of the tv and forget about their responsibilities as a human being.
You have a responsibility to your spouse, your children, your friends, your world. You have a responsibility to live up to your potential. If you don’t live up to your potential then your children and your spouse and your world will be impacted…. Negatively. See when you zone out, sleep all day, spend your nights drinking at the bar down town… what sort of positive things are happening for you? NOTHING! And if nothing positive is happen to you, then nothing positive is happening in your world. It is all a snowball effect.
So this is what I did, and this is what I encourage you to do. I am still doing my 30 day challenge and I hope you are to. For 30 days write down your goals morning and night. See what starts to happen, is what happened to me… your thoughts start to become clearer… and your obligations in life start to really show through.
What is my purpose, what is the point? What do I have to offer anyone? Who am I?
I am a 35 year old female, I was pregnant out of wedlock at the age of 20. I was told that all my dreams and desires would never flourish. I never made it to college, which according to society means I will be stuck with a job that will never pay me over $31,000 a year, I still rent, I don’t own a car, I’m not married… I mean what the heck? Who am I to give advice to anyone?
Well let me explain something to you, I never ever let these so called ‘bad things’... ‘problems’ hold me back. See people always say they LOVE surprises... No you don’t. You’re lying to yourself… you might like birthday surprises, or anniversary surprises… but you don’t really like surprises. You want to know what is a surprise? Ending up pregnant at the age of 20, and feeling like a total disappointment to your family and your church. You want to know what a surprise is? Looking at yourself in the mirror at 35 and realizing that you may never have another child. But you see… these… we don’t call surprises… we call these problems.
But what if you decided to not view them as problems, what if you decided to literally view them as surprises… would they be that bad? See when you change your language, just a little, then all of a sudden those so called problems are not really all that bad. See this is what you need to start doing in your life. Stop viewing all your so called problems as bad things… you need to start viewing them as surprises, or challenges. Every single person on this planet has stuff they are dealing with. The most successful people are the ones that own up to their challenges and keep going.
Do you know how many Mondays you get? Average person lives to be what… 85 years old?
That’s 4420 Mondays. That’s it.
Now subtract your age… I am 35, I have 2600 Mondays left. That’s it.
So what am I suppose to do? Sit around for another 1000 Mondays feeling sorry for myself because I made a so called mistake when I was 20?
Sit around and complain because I never made it to college?
Nope. I can and will take my so called flaws and insecurities and I will make something of myself.
I have been going on this path for years now, this path of bettering myself, educating myself, teaching others.
So I have an announcement today. Today I am announcing that I am a self proclaimed motivational speaker. And I will continue to proclaim this fact until i no longer have to proclaim it myself… because my work ethic, actions and feats speak for themselves.
I have had a desire to impact the world since I was 18 years old. I have always had such a loving and caring heart… I have always known that I was meant to do big things with my life. But i allowed my so called problems to cloud my judgement on who I was, and what I had to offer. Just because I view myself as a failure at life, does not make me a failure. And this is exactly what I want to inspire other women to understand.
I am not proclaiming this because I have a greedy desire to be a motivational speaker…
I am proclaiming this for all the women my age… in your 30s that are struggling with your identity. Who are single moms, divorced moms, battered mom, uneducated women, who question themselves and I want to prove to any girl out there that it doesn't matter what you have done, you can make a difference. If you work hard, if you stay true to yourself, if you work harder at your passion than anyone else....
it doesn't matter what you were handed or what you were dealt, it doesn't matter what you have done, you can create your own story.
You don't need money. You don't need looks. You don't need a man or a man's affection
You need heart. You need to determination. You need a passion. You need to focus. A goal, a strength in your heart that makes you unstoppable.
The ability to turn anything you touch to gold.
You need to work 100% of 100% of the time on yourself, your mind and your strengths.
Tell yourself you are amazing every single day, because you are.
Tell yourself you can do what ever is in your heart... if you have a desire in your heart to do something... that desire was put there for a reason... and it was put there because you need to fulfill that passion.
